Even if you’ve already completed your tax return questionnaires, you can still upload additional documents or records directly in the Web-App.
Example:
You’ve completed the questionnaire on additional income. When asked, "Did you have any expenses related to your employment?", you accidentally selected "No." No worries – even after completion, you can still submit deductible expenses (e.g., training costs, work materials, or travel expenses).
Note: If you’ve already confirmed the completeness of your data, you won’t be able to upload any more documents yourself.
→ In that case, just reach out to us – we can reset the completeness confirmation so you can make adjustments.
Step-by-Step Guide – Here’s How It Works
1. Go to the relevant annual tax return section and open the corresponding area
Log into the web app and open the tile for the relevant tax year. There, you’ll find all the questionnaires, where you can upload documents.
Referring to the example above: If you want to add expenses related to additional income, open the section for your personal tax return and go to the questionnaire on additional income.
2. Click the Plus Symbol (➕)
In the questionnaire, you’ll find a small plus symbol in the bottom right corner. This allows you to upload more documents at any time – even if you originally indicated that this section wasn’t relevant to you.
3. Select the appropriate document type
After clicking, a drop-down menu will appear. Select the document type that best matches your file – for example, expenses related to employment.
Note: If you’re unsure which type to select, just choose the one that seems most appropriate. Our tax experts will review all documents and assign them correctly during processing.
4. Upload your document and optionally add a comment
Drag the file into the upload field or select it from your device.
Tip: You can use the comment field to explain what the document is about – for example: "Training costs related to my side job." This information helps our team understand and process your records more accurately.
What Happens to the Uploaded Documents?
All additional documents you upload will be reviewed and considered by our tax experts during the preparation of your tax return. If we have any questions about a specific file, we’ll contact you directly.
