Select the device in your app, select ‘device updates’ and select ‘update available.’ If there is a firmware update available, you’ll see an option to ‘update now.’ It’s best to update your Chime before updating your Video Doorbell.

  • Make sure your Video Doorbell is charged before starting the update, it will not be successful if it is not online and turned on. You cannot perform the update while it is charging, so make sure to do this before.

Top Tip: It is best to perform the updates while the devices are next to each other. If there's an update available, bring your Video Doorbell inside and next to the Chime before starting, this will prevent any issues occurring with loss of connection.
