To ensure you benefit from continuous cover, your policy is set to automatically renew unless you chose to opt-out when you bought it. You can opt-out of automatic renewal at any point though, and the sooner the better to ensure we don’t take any further payments from you. If we can’t stop the payment being taken, we’ll automatically refund it to you.
In rare cases, we won’t automatically renew your policy. If we don’t, we’ll let you know in advance or in your notice of renewal.
For example, we might not automatically renew your policy because:
You’ve told us before that you don't want to automatically renew it.
Your insurer won’t insure you for another year because you’re no longer eligible for the policy and/or you, or anyone acting on your behalf, have intentionally concealed or misrepresented any information or circumstance that you had a responsibility to tell us about, or engaged in any fraudulent conduct, or made any false statement relating to the insurance.
There’s an outstanding payment due on your current policy.
You’ve cancelled your direct debit or your card details have expired.
