X'Drainer – Problem: Low suction / The vacuum gauge does not reach 0.70 bar

🔍 Step 1 – Vacuum Test

  • Set the XDC50 to “Vehicle Drain” mode.

  • Block the nylon hose with your finger.

➡️ Result interpretation:

Gauge reading

Diagnosis

Vacuum gauge < 0.70 bar

🔧 Venturi potentially clogged

Vacuum gauge ≥ 0.70 bar

⚠️ Issue with the hose + rubber cone



🧪 Checks to perform

  • Nylon hose


    🔄 Hose bent → Replace


  • Rubber cone


    ❌ Worn or scratched → Replace


  • Elbow connector


    🔄 Leaking or hose no longer secured → Cut 2 cm off the hose and reattach ➤ Otherwise, replace the whole assembly


  • Reinforced hose


    🔥 Pierced or burned → Cut off the damaged section and reattach ➤ Otherwise, replace


🧼 Venturi cleaning

⚠️ Warning: Drain the fresh fluid tank before servicing.


Disassembly steps:

  1. Open the panel on the “Fresh Fluid Valve” side ➤ Use a 6 mm Allen key ➤ Unscrew 3 screws


  2. Unclip the 2 hoses and remove the panel


3. Dismantle the valve + silencer assembly


4. Remove the fresh fluid tank support ➤ 2 mm Allen key ➤ Unscrew 4 screws


5. Unclip the 4 hoses and extract the Venturi


6. Clean and blow out the Venturi port with compressed air


🔄 Reassembly

  • Reinstall the Venturi and the dismantled components.

  • Test again in “Vehicle Drain” mode.

  • Block the nylon hose (rubber cone) with your finger.

  • Check that the vacuum gauge exceeds 0.70 bar.
