The Interactive Employee Update tool allows you to update fields such as hourly wage, monthly salary, or other contract fields for multiple employees simultaneously. It can also be used to update extra salary percentages for specific titles.
This is especially useful for salary adjustments or minimum wage updates.
How to use Interactive Employee Update
Configuring Extra Salary Percentages for Titles
To configure extra salary percentages for specific titles:
Navigate to Settings > Extra salary in %.
Click the + button to create a new rule.
Enter the extra salary percentage for each title.
Set the effective date for the rule.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Step 1 – Open the tool
Go to:
HR → Employees → More → Interactive Employee Update
Step 2 – Select the effective date
Choose the date from which the changes should apply.
This is the date when new contracts will be created or existing contracts will be updated.
Step 3 – Select the field and salary values This step also includes updating extra salary percentages for specific titles.
Select the field you want to update
For example: Hourly wage
Enter:
The current wage/rate
The new wage/rate
Select 12 months back in time (Default is 6 months)
If updating extra salary percentages, specify the percentage range (from–to).
This ensures that future contracts are also updated correctly.
Step 4 – Filter employees (optional)
You can filter by:
Title
Department
This is useful if the change only applies to specific employees.
⚠ NOTE: If you do not select titles or departments, the change will apply to all employees
Step 5 – Review the employee list
The system will now display a list of employees who:
Currently have the selected wage/rate
Will be updated to the new wage/rate
If an employee has future contracts, they will appear multiple times — once per contract.
You can click show on the left to open the employee profile and review the contracts.
Step 6 – Select which employees to update
All employees are selected by default.
If you do not want to update a specific employee, simply remove the blue checkmark on the left side.
Step 7 – Apply the update
When you confirm the update:
Existing contracts will be updated
Or new contracts will be created with the new wage from the selected start date
You can view the changes directly in the employee profile.
Step 8 – Download the update report
After the update, the system generates a CSV file containing all changes made.
You can download this file for documentation and verification purposes.
How to verify salaries after the update
You can export employee information to verify the changes.
Go to:
HR → Export → User information
When selecting fields:
Hold CTRL to select multiple fields, for example:

Department
Monthly salary
Hourly wage
This makes it easy to check which employees are still on a specific rate.
