With this feature, you can forecast your sales values by assigning sales probability percentages to each stage.
You can view the forecasted values on each sales stage along with the probability percentage.
What is sales probability percentage?
The percentage indicates how probable it is to win the deal by the expected closing date. The default value for each phase is 100%. It can be adjusted between 0% and 100%.
This feature consists of 2 parts:
Setting up the sales probability percentage on the pipeline settings
Calculated value on each stage
Setting up the sales probability percentage on the pipeline settings
Go to your pipeline on the deal board
On the top right, click on the three dots button >> Pipeline settings
On the pipeline settings, add the sales probability percentages in the fields corresponding to each stage
You can set the probability percentage between 0-100%
The Won stage is set to 100% by default.
Calculated values on each stage
You can view your calculated values as a sum of all probable values along with their corresponding percentages on each stage as shown below.
Note that the deal position value has the top priority for calculation.
If a deal has both deal position value and estimated value, only deal position value will be taken for calculation
If a deal has no deal position value, but has an estimated value, then the estimated value will be taken for calculation
If a deal has neither a deal position value, nor an estimated value, it would be ignored for the calculation
