Deal inactivity
Updated over a year ago

The deal inactivity feature helps you quickly visualize if your deal has been inactive for a certain number of days. This will help you understand the number of deals that have been inactive on specific pipelines in order to take the necessary actions and steps to fulfil your deal-closing goals.

The deal inactivity is shown with a yellow bar on the deal card when the deal has been inactive for a set number of days.

The deal inactivity feature consists of 2 parts:

  1. Deal inactivity settings

  2. Deal inactivity indicator

1. Deal inactivity settings

On the pipeline settings, you can set up the number of days for each stage after which the indicator shows a yellow warning on a deal card when the deal is inactive for that many days or longer.

Steps to set up your deal inactivity settings:

  1. Go to pipeline settings

  2. Follow-up Timer is unchecked by default

  3. Enable the checkbox "Set up Follow-Up Timer (FUT)"

  4. Now all the fields under the FUT column will be enabled

  5. Set the number of days from which you'd like to see the yellow warning indicator for each stage

  6. If the inactive period is set to 0, no action will be taken.

2. Deal inactivity indicator

On the pipeline, on the deals, if the deal is inactive for the number of days that is preset on the settings, say 10 days as per the above screenshot, the card will have a yellow bar warning the user that there is an inactive state. Upon hover, the user can see the number of days that this deal has been inactive.
