Recording on Desktop / Laptop:
Part 1: Check Your Permissions
Confirm that your microphone is turned on.
If the icon is red, your microphone is off.
If the icon is greyed out, you may need to enable the necessary permissions.
If you're having trouble with your microphone, please review the article ‘Enabling Camera, Microphone, & Screen Access’ before proceeding.
Part 2: Record and Save Your Audio Clip
Click the Record button ( ⭕) to begin your recording
Record your audio clip
When you are done recording, click the Pause button
Once paused, you can:
Start Over: This will delete your current take and allow you to record a new clip
Play: This allows you to play back your recording
Continue: This will allow you to continue recording where you left off
Save the recording
Upon saving the recording, the clip will be processed for playback. At this point, you can safely move on to submit an additional recording or proceed to the next task.

The recorded video will appear once processing is complete, though waiting for it to finish is not required.
Recording on Mobile:
Click Record Audio
When prompted, Allow access to your camera and Microphone
Optional: Tap ‘View Instructions’ to check out the questions before starting
Click the Record button ( ⭕) to begin your recording
Record your audio clip
When you are done recording, click the Pause button
Once paused, you can:
Start Over: This will delete your current take and allow you to record a new clip
Play: This allows you to play back your recording
Continue: This will allow you to continue recording where you left off
Save the recording
Upon saving the recording, the recording will be processed for playback. At this point, you can safely move on to submit an additional recording or proceed to the next task.
