As a PSUK member you have access to over 80 Manufacturer Discount Schemes covering around 1,200 products. With many of these schemes being either exclusive or having enhanced terms through PSUK.

All PSUK’s Manufacturer Discount Schemes operate through PHOENIX Healthcare Distribution, which is part of the PHOENIX Group.

As of 1st July 2024, PHOENIX will enter a 2 Reduced Wholesale Model agreement for distribution of AstraZeneca’s portfolio of medicines in the UK, meaning for PSUK members, the portfolio is available to order through your PSUK account.

The AstraZeneca MDS scheme has been simplified and will now be managed and paid through your PSUK account. The new scheme makes it easier for dispensing practices to manage and track rebates at product level and calculate profitability.

Please note, volumes will not be aggregated across different wholesalers, so it is important you put your AstraZeneca purchases through PSUK to ensure you maximise the discount available to you. Splitting spend between different wholesalers could result in you missing discount bands and a reduction in MDS discount.
