Each user will need an individual Numark login to access the platform. If you're unsure of your login or need one setting up, get in touch with the team via the chat icon below.
Once each individual staff member has their own unique User ID and Password they should now be able to:
1. Access the NumarkNet system online
2. Access the Learning library
3. Access their own learning records
Complete courses and gain certification e.g. Counter Excellence and Pharmacy Excellence
Downloading those certificates as evidence of completion and to assist in Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
Different Ways to Access the Platform
To access the training platform you need to be logged in to NumarkNet with your individual Numark login. The quickest way to access the training library is directly from the NumarkNet homepage.
Scroll all the way to the bottom of the page. Look under Member Benefits and click Training Library
You can also access the training platform from the Member Benefits tab using the instructions below:
From the Member Benefits tab, scroll down the page until you see the Training tab and click on it.
Scroll down the page until you see the Numark Training Library button and click on it.
Click on the Find Out More button.
Select the Access the training library button. This will take you directly to the training platform.
You are now on your own personal training library.
The first time you log in, you may be taken to a screen like below, where you will need to select your primary practice location and tick the boxes that are relevant to yourself before selecting continue.
You can then customise your recommended training from the different areas that might be relevant to your learning, job role or personal preferences. See examples below:
Remember you will probably only have to do this the very first time you log into the training platform.
Accessing the Training Platform Using the Numark Academy App
Access the training platform and scroll to the bottom of the training platform homepage. Look under Quick Links and click Get the App.
Download the App from your device’s app store and enter the code generated from the webpage into the app login screen. You should now be able to access all learning content and your learning log on your device.
Your Home Page
Your home page is the page you are brought to when you log in. It has recommended learning for you on it and allows you to access the rest of the platform.
At the top of your page you have four tabs – Home, My learning, Channels and Topics. You also have a search bar.
Home – returns you to your home page.
My learning – takes you to a screen showing modules that you have either completed, are currently completing, or bookmarked for later. You also have the option to add a learning record where you can record a CPD entry, add a reflective account or a peer discussion. These tabs match those in your My GPhC (if you have one).
Channels – when you click this a drop-down menu appears. This menu will help you find training materials. Counter Excellence contains materials for all community pharmacy staff. Pharmacy Excellence contains materials aimed towards pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The others contain materials linked to those topics.
Topics – when you click this a drop-down menu appears. This menu can help you find training materials by subject.
Search – allows you to search for information, articles and training modules by key word. Type the term you are looking for into the box and the platform will find all materials related to that word. A tip for the search box is that you will find more materials with a broader search e.g. “antibiotic” will return more items than “antibiotics”.
Accessing a Training Module
Once you’ve found a module you wish to complete, click on the module and then click the start button in the bottom right of the screen.
You can continue through the pages of the module by clicking the continue module button which appears in the same place as the start button.
You can exit a module at any time by clicking the x icon in the top right of the screen. You can return to the module at a later date from My Learning.
Download a Certificate
Once you have successfully completed a training module you can download a certificate for it. To do this you need to go to My Learning using the tab at the top of the page. The learning you have successfully completed appears in completed. Click Download Certificate for the module you need the certificate for. You can also download a certificate using the Numark Academy app.
To view completed modules you can click on the completed link and scroll through your courses. You can even download a certificate by clicking on the Download Certificate for all completed courses. These certificates can then be printed or saved as a PDF file for evidence
This will create a certificate that you can save or print.
The Channels tab takes you to the different learning/training sections e.g. Counter Excellence predominantly aimed for Counter staff and Pharmacy Excellence predominantly aimed for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Mandatory channel contains all the compulsory training.
The Counter and Pharmacy Excellence tabs are predominantly made up of current and relevant CPD learning with assessment modules (usually multiple-choice questions).
Clinical, OTC, Practice and Population health are made up of a variety of web pages, documents, and articles.
You will always get a certificate at the end of a module that has an assessment process e.g. the Counter and Pharmacy Excellence modules, but some of the non-assessed training may also have certification attached to them.
Please do not be afraid to enroll onto anything to both improve your knowledge and assist in professional development.
As a bonus there is a 4th tab on the My Learning page called Add Learning Record and clicking on this opens a sub screen that can be used to assist with your GPhC Mandatory CPD.
There are three different tabs within the Add Learning record tab Add CPD Entry (the default option), Add Reflective Account and Add Peer Discussion. These tabs match those in your My GPhC so can be used towards any of your six per year My GPhC mandatory recording examples.
