Checklist Results are the data your team captures by completing Checklists — the heart of reporting in Mobaro. This article explains the different types of Result, how to find and filter them, the ways you can view them, and the everyday actions you can take on a Result once it's in.
Why this matters: The Results page is where completed work turns into something you can act on. Knowing which type of Result you're looking at, and using the filters to cut straight to what matters, is the difference between "I think the morning checks got done" and "here are the three Locations that missed them." Everything downstream — Dashboards, exports, reports — draws on the Results you're viewing here.
What's covered:
To view a Result, Users must be Super Users, be an Assignee on Schedules with Results visible to Assignee, be a Reviewer on Schedules with Results visible to Assignees or Results visible to Reviewers only, or have the following Role:

The four types of Result
Mobaro differentiates between four types of Result, each shown on its own tab in the Results section:
Type | What it is |
Regular Results | Generated from completed Checklists. |
Missed Results | Generated when a Checklist is not completed before its deadline. |
Resumable Results | Created when a Checklist's progress is saved to the cloud before it is completed. |
Invalidated Results | Results that are essentially "deleted" but retain all the captured information. See Invalidating Results. |
Navigating and filtering Results
From the Results tab in the web app, switch between the four Result types using the tabs. Whichever type you're viewing, a set of filters helps you search, view, and export exactly the Results you need.
Filtering options
Time range
Use the predefined ranges (Today, Last Week, Current month) or define your own custom range. The maximum range you can filter by is 12 months.
Locations
Filter for specific Location(s) or Location Group(s).
Users
Filter Results completed by specific Users or Users in User Groups.
Checklists
Filter Results by specific Checklists.
Checklist Categories
If your Organization uses Checklist Categories, filter Results by the Category of the completed Checklist.
Schedules
Sort and filter Results by the Schedules they derive from.
Calendars
Sort and filter Results by the Calendars they were created from.
Scores
Find Results that scored Greater than or Less than a value between 0 and 100. When using the Score filter, any non-scoring Results (i.e. "N/A") are filtered out.
State
Filter Results by their current state: Default, Approved, Disapproved, or Awaiting Validation.
Schedule Type
Filter Results by the type of Schedule they belong to: Calendar, Continuous, Ad Hoc, Certification Process, or RideOps.
Certification Processes
Sort Results generated from specific Certification Processes.
Include resumed results
Available only when viewing Resumable Results. Toggling this on includes Results that are resumable but currently locked by a specific User on the platform.
Filter availability by Result type
Not every filter applies to every Result type. This table shows which filters are available where (✓ = available, — = not available):

Viewing options
To open a single Result, tick its checkbox and click View. Inside the detailed view you can switch between three ways of looking at the data.
Detailed Report
The default view. It contains every element presented to the User while completing the Checklist — answers, comments, Assignments, and so on.
Custom Report
Available when an administrator has set up a Report Template. The template controls which information appears — for example, an Action Report might show only Results that scored below the maximum or that have images or comments attached. See Creating and using Report Templates.
Show Map
View the Result by the GPS pinpoint captured for each answered Element or Question. See Viewing Checklist Results on a map for more.
Mobile app access
The four Result types are also available in the mobile app under the Reports tile. Users see Results according to their permissions for the relevant Checklists and Locations.
Managing Results
Beyond viewing, you can take several actions on a Result.
Change Location
If a User opened a Checklist at one Location but filled it out for another, you can change the Location on the finished Result without losing the work.
Change User
If a Result was completed under the wrong User or login, you can change the completing User. If you need to change all Users on a Result, Invalidate it instead and send it back to be completed again.
Heads-up: The Change result user function only overwrites Questions or Elements answered by the User who submitted the Result. Anything answered by other Users is left in its original state.
Modify a Result
You can edit or delete individual answers on a submitted Result. See Modify Checklist Results.
Export
Export Results to PDF or various Excel formats, or pull them via the API. See Exporting Results. PDF exports are limited to 5 at a time; for larger volumes use a Result Report notification rule.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What's the difference between a Missed and an Invalidated Result?
A: A Missed Result is generated automatically when a Checklist isn't completed before its deadline. An Invalidated Result is one you deliberately removed from reporting — see Invalidating Results.
Q: Why can't I filter Missed Results by Score or State?
A: Those filters only apply to Result types where the data exists. A Missed Result has no score or completion state, so those filters aren't offered. See the filter-availability table above.
Q: What's a Resumable Result?
A: It's a Checklist whose progress was saved to the cloud before completion. It stays available to pick up and finish, producing a Regular Result once completed.
Q: Why is the time range capped at 12 months?
A: The Results page limits the time-range filter to a maximum of 12 months. For longer spans, run multiple exports or pull the data via the API.
Q: I can't see a Result I expect to see — why?
A: Result visibility depends on your Role and on the Schedule's Results visible to setting. If you're not a Super User, you'll only see Results for Checklists and Locations you have permission to view.
