Creating schedules as part of your procurement plan

Effective scheduling is essential for the success of your procurement

project. The Schedule tab within each plan allows you to define timelines,

manage tasks, and ensure visibility across your organisation.

Creating a New Schedule

Schedules are sets of predefined or customisable tasks added to a plan.

In the left sidebar, navigate to the Schedule tab, then the Plan Schedule

tab.

Defining Plan Dates and Visibility

First you set the overarching timeline:

  1. Set dates: On the Plan Schedule tab, set a definitive start date and end date for the entire procurement project.

  2. Publish to Calendar: Select Show this plan in the calendar. This makes the schedule visible on the main Calendar view tab, enhancing cross-team visibility and coordination.

Click Save.

The Calendar view tab within the Plan shows all schedule tasks and

timelines, including those not published to the main organisational

calendar. You can also add custom tasks to any schedule profile you

select.

Your overall plan schedule is constructed from individual tasks. Once

added, these tasks are listed chronologically under the Tasks heading.

Deleting the Schedule

If the plan needs to be completely removed, you can delete the entire

schedule. Be advised that this action is permanent and cannot be

undone.

Steps to Delete the Schedule:

  1. Locate the Tasks heading.

  2. Underneath the task list, find and click the Delete schedule option.

  3. A warning message will appear. Review the message carefully.

  4. Click Confirm to permanently remove the schedule entirely.

Scheduling Related Procurements

Under the Procurements heading within the Schedule tab, you will see all

the tender competitions linked to the current plan.

To add a schedule to these competitions, simply open the competition

from this list.

Enter the start and end time for the competition.

Choose whether the competition's schedule should be published in the

calendar.
