Replacing the batteries in your thermostat

Is your thermostat not working properly or showing a message on the display? The batteries may need to be replaced.

Follow the steps below to replace the batteries in your thermostat.

Steps

  1. Turn off the thermostat
    Switch off the thermostat before replacing the batteries.

  2. Open or remove the thermostat
    Carefully open the battery compartment or remove the thermostat from the wall if needed.

  3. Replace the batteries
    Remove the old batteries and insert new ones of the same type. Make sure they are placed correctly.

  4. Reattach the thermostat
    Place the thermostat back and make sure it is securely attached.

  5. Check if it works
    Turn the thermostat back on and check if it is functioning properly.
