We’re excited to announce the release of a range of new datasets and functionality in Local Area Energy Planner Plus (LENZA).
Projects.
A much requested feature: you can now replace default cost and carbon assumptions in Projects with your own. Simply go to Projects and click ‘Manage Templates’ to start creating your own custom cost and carbon assumption templates. Read more here: Creating custom cost and carbon templates.
We’ve also made a few usability improvements: the buttons to edit and delete assets once placed are now easier to find and the network headroom slider with save state when you navigate into your Projects - making it easier to deploy assets in locations with spare capacity.
Planning Progress.
This brand new tracker can be used to monitor how many Projects and Scenarios your local authority has made and how many have been shared with your Distribution Network Operator. Want to know how to share plans with your Distribution Network Operator? Read our how-to guide: Sharing Plans with Your Network Operator.
Select ‘best fit’ DFES scenario.
Not got a full decarbonisation plan yet? It is still valuable to provide feedback on your Network Operator’s Distribution Future Energy Scenarios for your local authority. You can explore these and select a ‘best fit’ DFES Scenario for your area.
Flood risk Scotland
Three new datasets are now available inside LENZA for Scottish local authorities from the ‘Scottish Environmental Protection Agency’: Surface Water, River and Coastal Flood Risk Zones.
Some general improvements, bug fixes and data updates - including a brand new update to Bulk Supply Point & Grid Supply Point datasets.
