IG Markets Welcome Offers: Get up to $200 Cash Promotion

Open an IG Markets Account during the Promotional Period (1 July – 30 September 2026).

Complete a Qualifying Trade — your first eligible buy transaction of cryptocurrency, shares or ETFs (buy transactions only) with a trade value of AUD$100 or more.

Hold the full position for a minimum of 30 days from the date of purchase.

Receive $100 cash once the Hold Period is satisfied.

Unlock an extra $100 (for $200 total) if the account application was started and the Qualifying Trade completed within 7 days of starting that application.

These terms and conditions (the 'Terms and Conditions') apply to the "IG Markets $200 Promotion" (the 'Promotion'). By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as set out herein as well as the customer agreement for your IG Markets account with IG Digital Assets Australia Pty Ltd and/or IG Australia Pty Ltd ("IG") ('Account').

The Promotion's period commences at 00:01 am on 1 July 2026 and concludes at 11:59 pm on 30 September 2026 Australian Eastern Time or when 1,000 cash rewards have been issued, whichever occurs first (the 'Promotional Period'). This Promotion is limited to the first 1,000 eligible customers who complete a Qualifying Trade during the Promotional Period. Rewards will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis based on the time of execution of the Qualifying Trade. Closure of this Promotion will be notified on IG's website.

This Promotion is available exclusively to Qualifying Participants. In order to be a "Qualifying Participant" you must meet all of the following criteria: a. Successfully open an IG Markets Account during the Promotional Period; b. Be an Australian resident; c. Each customer is limited to one cash reward under this Promotion.

In order for a Qualifying Participant to be eligible for the cash reward, the following conditions must be met:

a. A "Qualifying Trade" is the Qualifying Participant's first trade on the platform, being a purchase of cryptocurrency, shares or ETFs (buy transaction only) executed through the IG Markets app with a trade value equal to or greater than AUD$100. The Qualifying Participant must complete one (1) Qualifying Trade within the Promotional Period.

b. The Qualifying Participant must hold the full position of their Qualifying Trade for a minimum of 30 days from the date of purchase (the "Hold Period"). Eligibility for any cash reward is conditional on satisfying the Hold Period requirement.

c. Upon satisfaction of the Hold Period, a cash reward will be issued as follows:

i. A $100 cash reward will be issued to any Qualifying Participant who completes a Qualifying Trade; and
​
ii. An additional $100 cash reward will be issued where the Qualifying Participant both commences their account application and completes their Qualifying Trade within 7 days of commencing that application.

The maximum total cash reward available to any Qualifying Participant under this Promotion is $200. Subsequent trades will not qualify for additional rewards.

The cash will be paid to eligible IG Accounts within 7 business days of the Hold Period ending. If you have more than one account with IG, only one account can be eligible for this credit. If you already have an IG account with IG, you will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion by opening a new IG account.

This Promotion is not open to employees of IG or any IG Group company, or employees of any other company engaged in direct competition with IG or any IG Group company.

IG reserves the right to modify, suspend, withdraw or terminate this Promotion where there are reasonable grounds to do so or where circumstances prevent its proper administration such as (a) regulatory requirement or directive; (b) technical failure or force majeure event; or (c) evidence of abuse affecting the Promotion. Where practical, IG will provide notification via the IG website or by an email to client's IG registered email address. All trading involves inherent risks and you are responsible for managing your positions and exposure. This Promotion is offered as an additional benefit to eligible clients and does not alter the risk nature of trading activities.

IG may refuse payment where IG has reasonable grounds to suspect abuse of this Promotion or actions contrary to its intended purposes, such as where a participant has (a) opened multiple accounts to claim multiple credits; (b) provided false information when opening their account; or (c) breached the eligibility requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.

IG reserves the right to withdraw these promotional benefits if a participant breaches these Terms and Conditions or its customer agreement with IG. This discretion is necessary to maintain the integrity of the promotion and will be exercised reasonably and in good faith.

If, at any time all, or any part of any provision of these Terms and Conditions are or become illegal, invalid or unenforceable in any respect under the law of any jurisdiction, such provision(s) shall not affect or impair the legality, validity or enforceability in that jurisdiction of the remainder of that provision or all other provisions of these Terms and Conditions or the legality, validity or enforceability under the law of any other jurisdiction of that provision or all other provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of New South Wales. The Courts of New South Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to which each party submits and waives any objection based on venue or forum.
