📋 What is this card?
Your Heating Oil Prepaid Card is a digital Mastercard designed specifically to help you pay for heating fuel. It can be used just like a normal bank card at most heating oil suppliers.
Because fuel orders are often for large amounts, please follow the tips below to ensure your payment goes through smoothly.
📞 The best way to pay: Over the phone
Heating oil often costs more than the amount available on your prepaid card. For this reason, we strongly recommend paying over the phone.
Paying for larger orders: If your bill is more than your card value, ask the supplier for a "split payment."
Use your Huggg card first: Ask the supplier to charge your digital Huggg card for its full balance.
Pay the rest: You can then pay any remaining balance on your bill using your own personal debit/credit card.
Note: Most online checkouts cannot process two different cards at once, which is why calling the supplier is the most reliable method.
💻 Paying Online
If your total fuel bill is less than or equal to the balance on your Huggg card, you can pay online as normal.
Select "Mastercard" at the checkout.
Enter the card number, expiry date, and CVV code found on your digital voucher.
Important: Ensure the total amount is not even 1p over your card balance, or the transaction will be declined.
