What is Huggg?
Huggg is a gifting platform that allows businesses to send real-life gifts ranging from coffee and cinema tickets to luxury hampers and flowers as easily as sending a link.
The Golden Rule: The Link is the Gift
On the Huggg platform, every gift you purchase is delivered as a unique Huggg link. Once a recipient has that link, they simply click it to see your message and claim their treat. There are no apps to download and no accounts for them to create.
Three Ways to Gift
When you log in to your dashboard, you'll see three ways to start finding the perfect gift:
1. Send a gift (Specific Gift). Choose one specific item for your recipient, like a box of brownies or a bottle of wine. You pick the item, and they receive the link to claim it.
2. Send a choice of gift (Recipient's Choice). This is our most popular feature! You pick a curated selection of gifts at your chosen budget, and let the recipient choose the one they want most. It’s the best way to ensure everyone gets something they love.
3. Send a gift card. Choose from our massive range of digital gift cards covering retail, takeaway, dining, groceries, and experiences (like Amazon, John Lewis, or Uber Eats).

How to Deliver Your Huggg Links
You have total control over how those links reach your recipients:
1. We send it for you (Email or SMS). You provide the recipient's email address or mobile number. We then send an automated message containing their unique Huggg link directly to them.
2. You send it yourself (Shareable Links). We generate the Huggg links for you to copy. You can then paste these into your own Slack messages, Microsoft Teams chats, WhatsApps, or personal emails.

The Recipient Experience
When your recipient clicks their link, they are taken to a claim page.
No Addresses Needed (at first): You don't need to know where they live to send a gift.
Claiming Digital/Collection: They receive their voucher code on their screen instantly.
Claiming Physical Gifts: They enter their own delivery address securely on the claim page. We then pass that info to our partners to handle the shipping.

From your dashboard, you can see in real-time who has opened their link and if it's been delivered successfully.
Important: On our standard plan, gifts are typically valid for one year. Because the link is the gift, it’s important to remind recipients to click and claim before that year is up!
