Can I resend a Huggg link?

If your recipient has lost their gift link or it’s buried in their inbox, you can easily retrieve it from your account and resend it manually via email, SMS, Slack or other channels.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If a recipient has accidentally deleted their Huggg link or is having trouble finding it, don’t worry! You can easily retrieve and resend the link manually.

To get started, log in to your account and navigate to the Gift history tab on the left-hand sidebar. From here, there are two ways to find the link you need.

Option 1: Search by recipient

If you know the email address or mobile number of the recipient, this is the quickest method.

  1. Click on Gift history.

  2. In the search bar at the top right, enter the email address, mobile number, or note associated with the gift.

  3. Once the gift appears in the list, click the link icon (🔗) next to the gift name to copy the unique URL to your clipboard.

  4. You can now paste this link into an email, SMS, Slack message or any channel of your choice to your recipient.

Option 2: Find by order

If you want to see all links from a specific order, follow these steps:

  1. Click on Gift history, then select the Orders tab at the top of the page.

  2. Locate the relevant order from the list and click on the Gift Name or Order Name to open it.

  3. You will see a list of all gifts within that order. Use the 'Sent to' column to identify the correct recipient.

  4. Click the link icon (🔗) on the left side of the recipient's details to copy their specific link.

⚠️ Important: One link per person

When copying links manually, please take extra care to ensure you are sending the correct link to the correct person.

  • Each link is unique: Once a link is claimed, it cannot be used again.

  • Security: Anyone with access to the link can claim the gift. If you accidentally send the same link to two different people, the first person to click it will get the gift, and the second person will see an error message.

Top tip: If you are managing a large number of links, using the "Notes" field during the checkout process makes it much easier to search for and identify specific links later!
