Household cleaning includes basic cleaning tasks that help keep an apartment or house clean and well-maintained. The independent service providers decide individually which tasks they take on.

Since every home is unique and each customer has individual preferences, we recommend walking through the home with your cleaner at the beginning of the cleaning to point out special features and define cleaning priorities.

Typical Tasks of a Household Cleaning:

Depending on the service provider and individual agreement, the following tasks may be part of the household cleaning:

General Areas (Living Room, Bedroom, Hallway):

  • Dusting easily accessible surfaces

  • Vacuuming and/or mopping floors

  • Waste disposal

Kitchen:

  • Wiping down countertops and visible kitchen appliances

  • Cleaning the sink

  • Surface cleaning of the stove and dining table

Bathroom:

  • Cleaning the sink, mirror, and fixtures

  • Wiping surfaces and shelves

  • Cleaning the toilet from the outside

Find out here how to add cleaning instructions to your active order and share them with your service provider.

What is not included?

Since service providers are free to choose which tasks they take on, special or particularly time-consuming cleaning tasks are not automatically part of the basic household cleaning. These include, for example:

  • Window cleaning

  • Deep cleaning of carpets and upholstery

  • Tidying up or decluttering

  • Cleaning of outdoor areas

Tip: If you have special requests, you should discuss them directly with the service provider.

Through the messaging function in your profile, you can also contact your service provider before the scheduled appointment and discuss the upcoming tasks.

If you have any questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to connect directly with one of our friendly service agents – we're happy to help!
