Home Cleaning: How the price is determined
1. You set the price range by selecting your preferred service providers
When creating a new request for home cleaning, you can choose from various independent service providers who set their own hourly rates. Your selection of providers defines the price range for your booking.
Example:
If you select Provider A with an hourly rate of €22.20 and Provider B with €27.00, your personal price range will be between €22.20 and €27.00. The hourly rate of the provider who accepts your request first will apply to your booking.
💡 Tip: Providers with a higher rate than your specified maximum may still accept your request. In doing so, they agree to perform the service at your maximum price.
2. Transparent pricing in your customer profile
Once your booking is confirmed, all price details will be clearly displayed in your appointment overview:
The hourly rate of your cleaner
The total cost of the service
A Helpling service fee of €2.90 per completed appointment, which is added on top of the provider’s rate as a cost to you as the customer
These details are always visible and easy to understand in your account.
Special booking cases
You cannot select providers if:
You choose the option "Request top-rated service providers"
You are making a last-minute booking (less than 48 hours in advance)
In both cases, your request is automatically sent to suitable available providers.
a) "Request top-rated service providers" option:
If selected, the platform automatically suggests top-rated providers in your area. The maximum hourly rate is shown in advance and may vary depending on your location.
b) Last-minute bookings (under 48 hours):
Your request is sent to all available service providers to ensure a quick match. Once a provider accepts, you’ll be notified. The pricing is based on the provider’s average hourly rate.
