What are the rules for ETA Calculations?

Updated yesterday

ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) is automatically updated while a vehicle is on route, but there are specific rules when it stops and how often it refreshes.

The frequency of ETA calculation:

  • ETA to the destination is less than 1 h → refreshes once per minute;

  • ETA to the destination is more than 1 h → refreshes once per 10 minutes.

ETA calculation will stop:

  • For 5 minutes the vehicle is within the 30 m radius (r=30 m) of the destination;

  • If the time difference from the planned time of arrival (PTA) (when a waypoint is started) to the estimated time of arrival (ETA) is more than 36 hours.
