In our Driving Behaviour solution, scores are calculated based on various parameters that measure driving performance.
The overall score is an average of all activated parameters, using weighted values. Each parameter, such as ECO speed, excessive idling, and harsh braking, is assigned a weight from 1 to 10, determining its importance in the total score calculation.
The system collects data daily from all vehicles, considering factors like harsh cornering, acceleration, and braking. These are calculated based on driving time.
The overall score is displayed as a percentage and color-coded from A (best, 90-100%) to G (worst, 0-14.99%), providing an easy-to-understand rating of fleet performance.
Driving score calculations can also be customized, learn more here.
Overall score
Based on weight of all other incidents and events.
ECO speed
The actual speed of the vehicle equal to or under the predefined speed is determined as ECO speed and displayed as a percentage of total driving time.
Total Eco Speed (%) = Eco speed (100%) - Overspeeding (% of total driving time)
ECO speed for each vehicle can be predefined in the settings section of the Driving Behaviour or in each Vehicle's profile.
Excessive Idling
Scale for default standing with engine ON (with Ignition ON if not the Expert device) for more than 2 minutes:
Cruise Control Usage
Displayed as % of total driving time over 60 km/h.
Coasting
Displayed as % of total driving time.
Harsh Braking
The decrease in speed, more than 3.4 m/s (12 km/h) is detected as harsh braking.
Harsh Acceleration
An increase in speed of more than 2.2 m/s (8 km/h) is detected as a harsh acceleration.
Harsh Cornering
The lateral acceleration of more than 0.37g (~ 3.7m/s2) will be detected as harsh cornering.
Driving Green Engine Speed
The time when vehicle RPM doesn't exceed 1750 RPM. Displayed as % of total driving time.
Speeding
🔔 Important! To use the Speeding event analysis, you need the paid HERE Overspeeding solution. This service allows the Platform to detect the speed limits along the route for accurate speeding detection.
To add this solution, please contact our sales team or our client support team.
A speeding event is generated if the event itself matches parameter settings ('Average violation' and 'Speeding duration') that can be adjusted for each vehicle.
The time that has been spent speeding. Displayed as a % of total driving time.
