How to adjust or turn off the colored plant backgrounds using an iPhone or Android phone

The colored area around each plant indicates the amount of space it needs to grow successfully. (The color indicates the crop family it belongs to.)

If you don't wish to see this you can you can turn colored backgrounds off for all plants.

How to turn off the colored plant backgrounds

Tap on the Plan Menu at the top right of your plan.

Tap Plan Settings.

Tap on the Profile tab

De-select 'Show colored plant backgrounds'.

Scroll down and tap Save Profile Settings.

How to change the size of the colored plant backgrounds

If you know you can grow a plant at closer spacings than the default ones, you can change the size of the background color around the plant by editing the plant spacings. The plant icon itself cannot be reduced in size.
