Add the plant to your plan then double-tap on it (or tap on it once then tap on the Edit button in your plan's Drawing toolbar).

In the Position settings, set your X axis for the first and last plants in the row to indicate their horizontal position on the screen.

Set your Y axis for the first and last plants in the row to indicate their vertical position on the screen.
