There are two ways to create a brand new plan.
Create a new plan from the Garden Planner dashboard
Open the Garden Planner then click on the Create New Plan button in the center of the page.
Give your plan a name.
Make sure the year is correct - click on the Year dropdown menu to choose a different one if not.
(If you have plans for previous years that you'd like to add, start with the earliest one you have crop rotation history for first. You can then create Follow-on Plans from it once your earliest plan is complete.)
Choose whether you'd prefer to use Imperial or Metric units of measurement, then set your plan's dimensions.
Note: Width and height refers to how the dimensions of your plan are presented on screen, rather than width and length, to avoid ambiguity about direction.
Click Create Plan.
Create a new plan from within an existing plan
Alternatively, you can create a new plan by clicking the New Plan button in an existing plan's toolbar, then follow the directions above.
