Choosing a new Sample Plan [Phone]

How to find and use our templates to try out different layouts for your garden on an iPhone or Android phone

The Garden Planner includes a selection of Sample Plans to help you begin planning your garden if you're not sure where to start. They include a range of garden types, from those suitable for beginners to a more ambitious feed-your-family garden.

Finding the Sample Plans

To access sample plans, open the Garden Planner, scroll down the Dashboard to the Garden Planner section, then tap Create New Plan.

Alternatively, if you already have a plan open, tap on the drop-down menu in your plan's top toolbar, then scroll down to the Switch Plan section. Tap on Create New Plan.

Tab on the Sample Plan tab.

You'll see a list of plans. Scroll down through the list to find one you'd like to try out.

Previewing the Sample Plans

Tap on the plus button on any plan image to see a preview. Tap on the X at the top right or tap anywhere on your screen away from the image to close it.

Found a plan you like?

Tap Select to choose a plan to use.

If you change your mind, you can tap Unselect.

Give your plan a new name if you like, and make sure the year is correct.

Choose between metric or imperial units of measurement.

Tap on Create Plan, and your plan will open in the Garden Planner.

Want to customize the plan?

You can change this plan as much as you like - add or remove plants, Garden Objects or Shapes, move things around, and change the size of the planning grid. If you change your mind, you can tap on Create New Plan again to choose a different Sample Plan or create your own bespoke plan.
