Control What Whistleblowers Can See

Choose which case details are visible to users after they submit a report

In this section, you can control what information the whistleblower can see in their case after submitting a report.


Steps

  1. Go to Reporting channels

  2. Select your reporting channel

  3. Open the Settings tab

  4. Scroll to Case details for whistleblowers

  5. Adjust the settings based on your needs


Case details for whistleblowers

In this section, you can choose which case details are visible to the whistleblower.

Show source

You can enable this option to display how the case was reported (e.g. system, phone, email, meeting, physical mail, or other).

Show category

You can enable this option to show the category assigned to the case.

Show departments linked to the case

You can enable this option to display which department is handling the case. Departments are only shown if more than one department exists.

Show state

You can enable this option to display the current state of the case. If disabled, the whistleblower will only see when the case is closed.

Show severity

You can enable this option to display the severity level of the case to the user.

Show assigned case handler

You can enable this option to display which case handler is assigned to the case. If enabled, then you will have to option to show to the user, the name of the case handler, name and title of the case handle or only the title of the case handler.

Show closing code

If enabled, the reason for closing the case will be shown to the whistleblower.
