Cost saving module

Collection: NS Business Card · For: Admins / HR

The cost saving module analyses your employees' travel behaviour and identifies where subscription changes could reduce costs. It is available as part of your Figo package when you manage NS Business Cards through Figo.

How does it work?

Figo continuously analyses data over the past 3 months. Based on this data, it calculates potential savings per employee by comparing their current subscription against more suitable alternatives.

The first saving recommendations appear after 3 months. This is the minimum needed for a reliable analysis.

Where do you find it?

Go to dashboard.figo.app and open the Mobility Expenses graph. Here you can see the total potential annual saving for your organisation at a glance.

Click on the saving button to open a full overview of saving opportunities per employee.

We recommend sorting from highest to lowest saving to prioritise where you can make the most impact.

How to act on a saving recommendation

1. Open the savings overview

Click on the Mobility Expenses graph in the Dashboard to see all employees with a saving opportunity.

2. Click "View savings" for an employee

This shows Figo's advice for that employee, which subscription would be more cost-effective based on their recent travel behaviour.

3. Decide whether to act

Consider whether the recommendation makes sense. The analysis is based on the past 3 months. If an employee was on leave, sick, or is leaving the organisation, it may not be a good moment to make a change.

4. Choose how to proceed

You have two options:

  • Notify the employee: send them a notification so they can request a new card themselves in Mobility Center. This option is only available if your organisation has Mobility Center enabled for employees.

  • Request the card yourself: click to request the new card directly on behalf of the employee and follow the steps.

5.Set the start date

Choose when the new card should take effect. The old card is automatically cancelled on the start date of the new one. From that date onwards, the employee travels with the new subscription.

The new card is sent to the employee's home address or to the office, depending on your organisation's delivery settings. We generally recommend delivery to the office address to ensure the card arrives safely before the switch date.

Things to keep in mind

  • The analysis is based on the past 3 months. Temporary situations like leave or holidays may affect the recommendation

  • Once a new card has been requested, it cannot be cancelled
