Dashboard administrators (who are internal users) can edit the Landing Experience Dashboard. Click

Edit a Landing Experience Dashboard

Dashboard administrators can do the following:

  • Click the

    add a new row button

    at the top of the dashboard area to move all widgets down by one row on the dashboard, allowing for easy placement of new widgets at the top of the dashboard

  • Click

    Trash button

    to delete a widget

  • Click

    cog icon

    to edit a widget

  • Drag and resize widgets to arrange them into a view that suits the needs of external client users

  • Click

    save button

    to make all of the changes available to the intended dashboard users which will be visible the next time they log into view the dashboard. This button also returns the dashboard administrator to Landing Experience Dashboard Maintenance in preview mode.

  • Click

    cancel button

    to return the dashboard administrator to Landing Experience Dashboard Maintenance in preview mode. Note changes are not saved when this button is clicked.

  • Click

    settings button

    to edit the Dashboard Setting such as Inactive, Name, Title, Description, Refresh Time (Hours), Enable Global Search, Enable for Internal Users, Show on Page, and Internal User Data Sensitivity

Things to Note

  • Standard out-of-the-box Dashboards delivered by Equus cannot be edited by default. However, these can be duplicated and required changes to the dashboard can be made on the new copy. A warning badge is displayed on Equus-delivered standard Dashboards.

  • The widgets in standard out-of-the-box Dashboards are powered by Equus-delivered User Reports and User Report Types, which are locked and uneditable by default. Similarly, if any changes are needed, these can be duplicated.

  • Users are only able to inactivate Equus-delivered dashboards. All other functionalities are disabled.
