If the user's security role has the appropriate rights to the Landing Experience Dashboards screen at the System Configuration, the user can click on the pencil icon to view an existing dashboard to delete it.

To delete a dashboard, click on the

pencil icon

next to the dashboard name.

In edit mode, click on the

delete button

Additional steps are required to delete dashboards configured for portals. Follow the additional steps below:

  1. In the Landing Experience Dashboard Configuration section on the Portal Configuration screen, all dashboards configured for a company are found including the dashboard designated as the default dashboard which cannot be deleted.

  2. Untick the Default checkbox for the dashboard that is to be deleted or select another dashboard to be the company's default if there are any other dashboard in the list

Note, that when a dashboard is marked as the company's default dashboard, the designated default dashboard cannot be assigned a security role and will show as N/A on screen. A default company dashboard is the dashboard that is assigned to any role that is not specified in the Landing Experience Dashboard Configuration section.

Follow the above steps when the below error message appeared when attempting to delete a dashboard that is configured as the default dashboard for a company. You can navigate to Portal Configuration by clicking the link on the message.
