The Authorization screen is used to configure how Initiations will work in the Equus Platform. This is available at the company level configuration:
This includes two sections:
Authorization Settings
The Authorization Settings section includes the following Company level Authorization Configuration settings.
The fields are:
Allow Authorization Creation From Existing Assignment: Selecting this checkbox will enable this feature for all Assignments with the given Company. When this is checked, the
will be visible on the Assignment screen. It is also a requirement for creating initiations via API requests using the People API Subscription.
Note, the button will also follow the terminology set in your company or system preference. In example, if assignment terminology is set to Relocation, it will display relocation instead of Assignment. Check with your Equus Representative to know more about changing the assignment terminology.
Do Not Send Request Emails: Selecting this checkbox will disable the automatic emails sent to internal users when there is a Cost Estimate request or cancellation.
Restrict Authorization Coordinators To Current User: Selecting this checkbox will automatically assign and restrict the authorization coordinator to the user creating the authorization. This prevents the user from seeing other coordinators. If a user that is not an Authorization Coordinator attempts to create an authorization they will not be able to because the Authorization Coordinator is a required field and there will be no options in the drop down to select.
New Authorization Help: This text field is intended to give Authorization coordinators guidance when creating a new Authorization. Text configured within this field will display when users click on “New Authorization”. This field is HTML capable.
