If you've noticed a small charge after adding a new payment card or linking your PayPal account, don't worry! This is a temporary security check to ensure your account is active and valid.
💳 How much is the fee?
The small verification amount depends on your local currency:
Eurozone: €0.50
Switzerland: 0.50 CHF
Denmark: 5 DKK
🔄 How the Refund Works
Instant Reversal: We automatically issue a full refund the exact moment your payment method is successfully verified.
Bank Processing Time: While we release the money immediately, banks and PayPal can take a few working days to process the transaction and reflect the refund on your statement.

Why do you do this? This small check protects your account against fraud and ensures your payment method has sufficient funds to start a ride before you unlock a bike.
It still shows as "Pending" on my bank app: This is completely normal! Most banks will hold the transaction in a "Pending" or "Processing" status for 1 to 3 business days before removing it entirely.
International Cards: If you are using an international debit card, your bank may occasionally take up to 7 to 10 business days to clear the hold.
