Is there an IP Whitelist?

If this feature is enabled by DepenSys Admins, access to your DepenSys system will be restricted to users connecting from authorised IP (Internet Protocol) addresses only.

This feature is beneficial for organisations who might be concerned about unauthorised access from outside of the controlled environment of your IT network’s firewalls.

The IP Whitelist allows IPv4 addresses to be listed for permitted access. Only your Super Users or Service Desk users can manage this list once the feature is enabled.

To add a new Whitelisted IP address, simply click the Add IP Address button in the top right of the view. Enter a Start IP address. If you are Whitelisting just one address rather than a range, you can click Save without completing the End IP address value.

PLEASE NOTE: Once enabled no user will be able to login to your system without their IP address being authorised. Make sure that you provide an initial list of permitted IP addresses to DepenSys so that access can continue once the feature is turned on.
