If your EUR, USD, AUD or GBP Apple Pay or Google Pay deposit hasn’t arrived in your Coinmetro account, don’t worry. Let’s walk through a few common reasons and solutions to help you resolve the issue quickly.
✅ 1. Does the Cardholder Name Match Your Account?
To protect your funds and ensure compliance, third-party deposits are not allowed. The name on your card must match the name on your Coinmetro account. If it doesn’t, the deposit will be rejected and returned at your expense.
💳 2. Was the Transaction Successful?
Check with your bank or card issuer to confirm that the transaction was successful. Sometimes a deposit may appear to go through, but your bank may silently reject it without notifying you.
📧 3. Check Your Email Inbox
When making a first-time card deposit, we may ask you to verify the payment by providing a PDF bank statement (covering at least 3 months). This document must clearly show:
Your full name
Bank details
The transaction to Coinmetro.
We can’t process your deposit until the statement is received.
🔐 4. Is Your Account Verified?
You must have a fully verified Coinmetro account to deposit funds on Coinmetro.
🚫 5. Common Reasons for Failed Deposits
If your deposit didn’t go through, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
❌ Name on the card doesn’t match your Coinmetro account
❌ Transaction declined by your bank
❌ Card not enabled for:
Online/e-commerce payments
Foreign or cryptocurrency transactions
❌ Card not enrolled in 3D Secure
❌ Insufficient funds or card limit reached
❌ Incorrect CVC, expiry date, or password entered
❌ Expired card
❌ Deposit exceeds 5,000 EUR/GBP/USD/AUD
❌ Use of a prepaid card that was not issued by Visa or Mastercard.
