Sometimes a challenge or Cog includes links to articles, videos, or websites you may want to return to later. For example, you might see a link like “Politics and the English Language” from the Orwell Foundation.
At the moment, links shared in challenges or Cogs are not saved in one central place. This means you need to save them yourself as you work through the programme.
The good news is that there are a few easy ways to do this.
Steps to take
1. Bookmark the link in your browser
This is the quickest option if you want to return to the link later.
Open the link from the challenge or Cog
Click the bookmark or star icon in your browser
Save it to a folder you can easily find again
You could create a folder called “Cognician links” or “Copilot resources”
2. Copy and paste the link into a notes app
This works well if you like keeping everything in one place.
Highlight the link text
Copy the link
Paste it into a notes app like Notes, OneNote, Google Docs, or Notion
Add a short note about why the link is useful
3. Email the link to yourself
This is helpful if you want access across devices.
Copy the link
Open your email
Send a short email to yourself with the link in the message
Add a subject like “Cognician Copilot link”
4. Save links in a personal document
Some participants prefer keeping a simple running list.
Create a document called “My Copilot links”
Each time you see a useful link, add it to the list
Include the challenge or Cog name for context
Helpful to know
Links in challenges and Cogs are there to support your learning
You do not need to save every link, only the ones you want to revisit
Saving links as you go makes it easier to reflect later or share resources with others
If you are unsure whether a link will appear again, it is best to save it when you first see it.
