How the certificate is issued (important to know)
The certificate is issued automatically once you’ve fully completed the quest. There is no manual request step.
This is confirmed in the program configuration files, which explicitly show:
Certificate: Yes
Certificate is enabled at program completion
What “complete” means for the Copilot Chat Foundations Quest
To trigger the certificate, you must complete all required cogs, which include:
The Welcome / Please Begin cog
Every challenge cog in the quest
Every reflection cog is linked to each challenge
Completion of both the action and reflection parts is required — this is explicitly called out in the quest scope and blueprint documents.
How you receive the certificate
Once the system detects full completion:
You receive an automatic email titled Certificate awarded!
The email contains a direct link to open your certificate
The email comes from Cognician (support@cognician.com)
This is confirmed by an actual certificate email already received for Copilot quests. [Certificate awarded! | Outlook]
Steps to access your certificate
Check your inbox for the email Certificate awarded!
If not visible, search your mailbox for:
Certificate awardedCognician
Open the email and select “Click here to open your certificate”

Common reasons you don’t see the certificate yet
These are the most frequent causes:
One or more reflection cogs were not completed
A challenge was viewed but not marked complete
The final cog hasn’t unlocked yet
Email landed in Clutter / Junk / Focused inbox filtering
The program blueprint confirms that certificates are only issued once completion thresholds are met.
If you need a PDF or downloadable copy
Once you open the certificate:
You can print to PDF or download it from the certificate page
This is a common requirement noted in feedback files for Shell and other clients.
What to do if you’ve completed everything but still don’t have it
If you believe you’ve completed all cogs and reflections and haven’t received the certificate email:
Contact support@cognician.com
Include:
Your email address
The program name: Copilot Chat Foundations Quest
Confirmation that all challenges and reflections are complete
Support can verify completion and re‑trigger the certificate if needed.
Your Copilot program certificate is automatically emailed to you once you complete all challenges and reflection cogs. Look for an email titled “Certificate awarded!” from Cognician.
