As a foreign company exporting to Egypt – what do I need to do?

1. Register your company

Foreign exporters need to register only on the CargoX Platform.

Note

As a foreign company located outside of Egypt exporting goods to Egypt, you are not required to register on the Egyptian customs platform NAFEZA. Only your buyer – an Egyptian company importing your goods – needs to register and use the NAFEZA platform.

2. Verify your company

Complete the verification process, as Egyptian ACI filing is only allowed for verified companies. Verification costs 15 units (𝕌).

3. Acquire an ACID number

Acquire an ACID number by sharing your company details with your Egyptian importer.

4. Send an ACI envelope

Compose and send an ACI envelope. Make sure you include the required documents in the correct formats.
