Certain actions on the CargoX Platform are only available to verified companies. Egyptian ACI filing is one such example, as Egyptian customs require us to only allow ACI filing from verified exporters.
The company verification process on the CargoX Platform consists of two steps:
1. Bank verification
First part of the verification is tied to the identity provided by your bank. To initiate this step purchase units (๐) through the platformโs billing section and pay via a bank wire. When we receive the payment and the match is confirmed, the first part of your company verification is complete.
Warning
Payment must come from your company's bank account, as we use this information to match it against your company details. Many companies fail the verification process because payment comes from another company in the group, or from their trading partner. This is not allowed!

If you are an EU-based company, it is recommended that you verify your VAT number before purchasing units (๐) as VAT verified companies wonโt have VAT applied when buying units (๐) (per reverse charge of EU VAT taxation rule).
2. 3-rd party verification service
Open the gear icon (โ) | Company verification and verify your data via 3rd-party service, start the process by clicking the Verify now button.
In this step CargoX uses a 3rd party provider (Dun & Bradstreet) to verify your company details (as found in gear icon (โ) | Company details) with your country's official national company registry. Your company details (company name, address, registration number, tax/VAT number) should completely match the data in official records.

The cost for the verification is 15 units (๐) (equals $15) and it can be initiated after you finish the Step 1: Bank verification.
Tip
If your 3rd party verification fails, check this link for help.
Warning
Your verification status will be void should you change your company name, address, registration number or tax/VAT number in Company details. You will need to restart the 3rd party verification step again.
To check whether you have completed the CargoX company verifications process go to the gear icon (โ) | Company verification. If you see a screen similar to this one (two green checkmarks), then your company is fully verified.
