Please note that this service is exclusively available to companies registered within the United Arab Emirates, in compliance with local legislative requirements.
The other required condition is to have a valid company Customs Registration Number (CRN) registered for declaring goods with ADC. If you do not have a CRN, please visit the Abu Dhabi TAMM service to apply for the CRN.
Before you can start using ADC filing, you are required to connect your CargoX Platform account to your ADC account. Please follow the steps below:
1. Create a CargoX Platform account
Create a CargoX account by clicking on this link and following the onscreen procedure.
Note
If your company already has an account on the CargoX Platform, simply login to your CargoX account.
2. Connect CargoX account with ADC system
1. Click on the gear icon (β)
2. Navigate to Company details and scroll to the bottom.
3. Enter your company CRN number.
4. Click on the Connect account button.
Note
Only a company administrator on the CargoX Platform is authorised to connect the ADC system with the CargoX Platform.
a. If the provided CRN does not exist, please ensure that you are entering the correct CRN as listed in your company account details within the Abu Dhabi Customs application. If you have not yet obtained a CRN, please visit the Abu Dhabi TAMM service to apply for one. Once ready, click the Try with different CRN number button to attempt again.
b. If CRN exists, but the VAT number in the ADC system does not match the VAT number in the CargoX Platform, please update the VAT number in one of the systems to ensure they match. If the VAT number is incorrectly entered in the CargoX Platform, please follow the procedure for updating your company details available here.
c. If the CRN exists in the ADC system and the VAT number matches in both the CargoX and ADC accounts, the corresponding company for the provided CRN will be displayed. At that point, you may proceed to the next step.
5. Click the Confirm connection button.
Success
When successful, you will see a green status: Successfully connected with CRN number XXXXX.
3. Buy units on the CargoX Platform
To submit ADC filings to the Abu Dhabi Customs Authority via the CargoX Platform, you will need to acquire units.
The CargoX Platform operates as a pre-paid service. Units (π) are used as payment credit. One (1) CargoX unit (π) is equal to $1 US. Units (π) can be purchased directly through the CargoX Platform.
To acquire units on the CargoX Platform, there are several options available:
