Creating an assessment as Self-Assessment

Assessments, Selbstauskunft, Self-Assessment

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The choice of assessment type Self-Assessment has the following effects:

  • Participants receive an invitation to take part in the assessment

  • Auditors are informed by participants upon completion.

  • Participants will see the questionnaire under Assigned Assessments

For the following description, we assume that you have created a questionnaire and set it to Active.

1 - General

  1. Navigate to Assessments

  2. Select the Create button

  3. Select Self-assessment from the drop-down menu.

  4. Name your assessment (Here: At the top, see ‘New assessments YYYY-MM-...)

  5. Enter further data, for example

    1. Scope of the assessment

    2. Audited (or Further) organisational units

    3. Due dates for data collection & report date

2 - Questionnaire

  1. Click on From template to load an existing questionnaire into the assessment.

  2. Theoretically, you can also create a new questionnaire here.

  3. You can make changes to the questionnaire here, for example delete or add individual questions.

  4. Making changes will not change the template.

3 - Responses

  1. Now select a participant by clicking Create.

  2. You can then add further participants by clicking Create

  3. Note: Only participants who belong to the selected Audited (or Further) organisational units are displayed.

  4. Then set the status of the assessment to In progress.

  5. Participants are informed and process the questionnaire individually

  6. The icon on Page 3 - next to the participant - shows whether the questionnaire has already been answered.

The participant confirms, that all entered details are complete and accurate before submitting.

4 - Summary

If all responses have been received, you can now start the evaluation.

  1. Set the status to In review

  2. If you have created automated tasks in questionnaires, these will now be activated.

  3. Download both reports

    1. Download report

    2. Download tasks

  4. If necessary, write a management summary based on the results. This will also be output in the report.

NOTE: We are currently working on improving the reports.

Final note on viewing the answers

  • You can access the participants' questionnaires via 3 - Answers

  • If an inconsistency or question arises while you are reading through the questionnaire, I recommend the following:

    • Create Remark

  1. Open answer.

  2. Click on the relevant question - even if it is greyed out.

  3. The blue line with the + appears on the right-hand side

  4. Select Create Remark
