📢 Reach: Selecting an Audience Before Publishing a Broadcast

Introduction

When creating a broadcast in Bookboost, it’s essential to select an audience before publishing. This is different from Journeys, where not selecting an audience means the message is sent to all guests. In broadcasts, audience selection is mandatory.

Main Concept

A broadcast is a one-time campaign sent to a specific audience at a scheduled time. To ensure precise targeting and proper calculation of how many guests will receive the broadcast, you must manually select an audience before publishing.

Configuration and Setup

  1. Go to the Broadcast section in your Bookboost dashboard.

  2. Create your broadcast.

  3. Go to audience.

  4. Select your desired audience (you can choose more than one audience) from your saved audience lists or create a new one.

  5. Bookboost will automatically calculate the number of guests matching your selected audience.

  6. Once verified, proceed to publish your broadcast.

Note: If the limit is exceeded, contact support to increase it. Please do this at least 24 hours before you want to send the campaign so we have time to increase it.
