Interim orders are placed by the home using the Atlas PCS device for medication which will be required short-term for example antibiotics or chronic medication which will run out of stock before the monthly supply is received by the home.
You are able to view pending interim orders via the Care Homes tab. To view the pending interim orders per home follow this process:
1. Click on the Care Homes tab from the tool bar located at the top of CAPA.
2. Any pending interim's will display as a quantity in the interim order column, this will display the homes overall quantity of pending orders. Either click the cross next to the care home name to view the outstanding quantity of interim orders per care home unit alternatively double click the care home name to view the specific orders.
3. Interim orders are displayed on the bottom half of the screen. The patient, items and date are displayed on this view.
4. For more information on specific orders click view interim orders and double click the order you wish to view.
