Expiring Medication

The expiring medication page has been designed to display when a item is due to expire calculated from the first time the dispense label is scanned for administration, the dates are calculated by the advisories from our clinical data base for eye drops and eye ointments.

The following information is displayed on this page:

Resident name

Written as (Drug name)

Dosage

Opened Date (The first time the dispense label is scanned during the administration process)

Expiry Date

Barcode number (located on the dispense label to help you identify the correct item)

Status

To view the Expiring Medication screen follow this process:

1. Log in to Atlas Central and from the left hand side option panel click the small arrow next to the stock option to view the subsections.

2.Selectthe Expiring Medication option.

3. Should you wish you view the screen per unit allocation please select the unit from the locations box located at the top left hand corner of the screen.

Please note: This feature is only compatible with devices which are running the Atlas eMAR application version 7.6 and above. This version is not compatible with the discontinue MiTac A235 or A335 device.

The Atlas App version number can be identified in the settings cog which is located main screen of the Atlas app.
