If a scorecard says the target is 100% and it says you have scored 100% but it says you have failed, this will be down to the scorecard rounding the number up to 100%. For example if the actual score is 99.99% the scorecard will display this score as 100% and will list this as a fail as the score is not actually 100%. You can select view more on the tile to view more information about the specific tile.

Manage atlas scorecard Tab

If a staff member is granted access through this tab, the user might get granted access to all care homes in their organisation, this means they might end up having access to homes they should not have access to. They will have permanent access to the scorecard as once selecting 'enable scorecard' there is no tab to disable the scorecard access so if the care home stop paying for the scorecard they would still have access.

Updating scorecard message when trying to view the scorecard

If a staff member says they do not have access to the scorecard and send an error message where the scorecard says 'updating scorecard' please do not escalate this as the user does have access to the scorecard but the scorecard is just updating. The scorecard updates multiple times a day, usually around 08:00, about 11:00 and might also update again once the daily reports have pulled through to atlas central.

Kicked off of the scorecard and need to log in again.

The atlas scorecard is designed to kick you off of the scorecard after 3 minutes of inactivity, it may take less time than that. Anything else on atlas central will kick you off of after 15 minutes of inactivity.

Scorecard tabs that can be ignored

The home do not need to worry about this tab, this tab dates back to when the scorecard was first introduced (predating Wi-Fi) if a unit is archived this will still cause the synchronisation to fail as this tab was designed to include all unit tabs and a unit being archived was not factored in to this tab when it was created.

Fax back success can also be ignored as faxes are no longer used.

Staff training success can also be ignored as the e-learning will be moving over to PCS learn, some homes have already had their e-learning moved over to the new website. The staff training success was only for courses completed on atlas central.

Viewing the atlas scorecard

When viewing the atlas scorecard do not view the yesterday tab, select at least 'last 7 days'

Each scorecard tab starts with 100% success each day and will knockback the score for every failure.

Viewing med details in barcode scanning success.

When selecting the med details tab in the morning if no information loads please try viewing this again in the afternoon as the information might not yet have been added to the atlas scorecard as the scorecard is updated daily usually in the morning/ early hours of afternoon.

How can you tell whether a staff member has scanned the barcode on the medication label.

There is a tab listed once you click through to view barcode scanning success data, this tab is barcode count. Barcode count shows the amount that were scanned. To view more details select the box with the cross inside, next to the unit.

And this will expand to show what residents were given medication. If a medication was scanned there would be a barcode number listed that might look like $S12345678. If a medication was not scanned the barcode section would be blank, like the example below.

CD admins witnessed success tile

The daily report does not look for whether a staff member has self witnessed, the daily report only looks to see if a witness has signed this. As long as someone has witnessed the medication the daily report will say a witness has occurred even if it is a self witness.
So if you want to check whether a medication was self witnessed please check the scorecard tile CD admins witnessed success and you will be able to see whether the medication was signed by a 2nd witness or self witnessed.

Click view more on the tile and then select the 'data' tab, on here you will be able to see who has witnessed the medication administrations.

Failed to scan medication box

If you are looking in the administration success tile and see that barcodes have failed and are showing a barcode number that starts with $v this is a residents storage label not a medication label. Medication labels start with $s.
