New residents profiles can be added directly from the Atlas Central by using the add new resident feature simply add all of the residents details and synchronise the Atlas device.
To add a new resident follow this process;
1. Log in to Atlas Central and click residents.
2. Click add new resident
3. To allocate the resident to the relevant unit click the unit drop down box, then complete all of the fields. Including Allergies, conditions, surgery and clinical Note details. Once finished click add resident.
4. Once you have added all of the details and selected 'Add resident' you will be asked to confirm or should you need to go back to edit select cancel to go back and edit details.
5.Once saved the residents profile will display with no picture within the residents section on the Atlas central dashboard.
6. Next Synchronise your Atlas eMAR device to download the new residents profile onto the handset and now you will need to add the Resident photo as this can only be completed using the handheld device.

Tips
Check you have the unit details that the resident will be allocated to.
Check you have have all of the residents details to hand before starting to add the details, including allergies, conditions, Gp surgery and any clinical notes.
Once the Atlas eMAR has been updated with the new residents profile always remember to take a photograph as this helps identify the resident during administrations rounds.
