How to Reset a Monthly Order for a Unit

This article will walk you through the steps to reset a monthly order for a unit. The home may need to get their monthly order reset for the following reasons.

  • If it has been marked as ready to early

  • If they haven't accounted for a resident medication

  • If they have ordered incorrect medications/quantities

1. To reset an order open atlas manager, then go to manage care homes, search for the care home and select it.

2. Once selected, maximize your screen and put in the cycle ID number into the 'Reset Monthly Order Cycle ID' reset order box.

3. The cycle ID can be found on CAPA by opening the care home, selecting the unit from the drop down list and the selecting 'View Current Monthly Cycle' on the right hand side.

4. At the top of the screen you will see cycle ID which consist of 5 numbers. Once you have the cycle ID, you will need to enter it into the 'Reset Monthly Order Cycle ID' reset order box.

5. you will need to go back into CAPA > 'View Current Monthly Cycle' > click on the 'Test Mode' tab at the top of the screen and click the ‘Reset Monthly Order to Pending’ button then click the ‘Recreate Blank Monthly MAR’.

6. Advise the home to sync and the order should show as red again and they should be able to re-complete this.
