How to set the date and time on a Zebra device

In the rare scenario that the date and time settings on your device are incorrect for whatever reason, this can have an adverse effect on your medication round times as well as stored data. To rectify this issue, first of all please check to see if your device is locked down. If it is, please contact support to get the lockdown lifted to allow access to the settings. If your device is not locked down, or you have already done this, please follow the below steps to rectify the issue.

From the main screen please pull down on the top bar twice to reveal the settings icon




From here please locate the ‘System’ option, followed by the ‘Date and Time’ option




Ensure that the toggle for Set time automatically is switch on and the Time zone is set to United Kingdom




Then please ensure that your NTP server is set. This directs the device to the server address that will send it accurate times and dates. Please use Preset NTP Servers followed by the option for europe.pool.ntp.org as seen below




Finally please press Update Time at once on the previous page to make sure the most up to date time is set on the device
