It is important that you keep your PIN secure and do not share it with anyone. Your PIN number should be easy to remember but difficult to guess.
To change your pin number, follow these simple steps:
Log into the Atlas eMAR device using your original pin number and enter the home screen.
In the top right hand corner is options; select the icon marked view options.
Select the second option in the list, change your pin number
Enter your existing pin number and choose a new, easy to remember pin number. Enter this in the box and repeat the new pin. Select update.
To check that the update has been successful, please look at the bottom of the screen that appears immediately after saving your new pin. There should be a black box with the words pin updated; this will only appear for a few seconds. If this does not appear, repeat the above steps. Please synchronize the device on completion, this will also become your new PIN for Atlas Central.
If the device does not recognize your original pin number, please select 'forgot pin' from the log in menu and reset your PIN number this way instead. You will need another user within the home to witness the change made.
