Lots of exciting updates and enhancements to announce this month! From new data to new features, check out the details below:
New transport data | There are three new transport datasets in LAEP+: 'Walking Distance from EV Charge Points', 'Off Street Parking Availability', and 'EVCP Pavement Suitability', all modelled by our data specialists at Advanced Infrastructure.
Discover these datasets in the ‘Transport & Mobility’ folder and explore detailed methodology notes here. |
New emissions data | We’ve added three powerful new datasets aimed at helping you pinpoint pollution sources in your local area: ‘Greenhouse Gases’, ‘Air Pollutants’, and ‘Toxic and Hazardous Pollutants’. These insights are accessible through the newly created ‘Industrials & Emissions’ folder in the Data Explorer. Check out the metadata for each dataset by clicking the ‘i’ icon next to the dataset titles. |
Feature enhancement: Portfolios | Introducing: Local data in Portfolios! We’re excited to announce a highly anticipated addition to Portfolios that we have been working hard to deliver for you.
Any compatible locally-uploaded datasets can now be utilised in Portfolios, enhancing your ability to identify suitable properties for decarbonisation. You can find them in the ‘Local Data’ section when creating a dataset-based rule.
Note: currently CSV data cannot be used in a Portfolio, and for building-level filtering a UPRN column must exist in the dataset. |
Feature enhancement: Portfolios | You can now add additional dataset columns to a Portfolio to enrich your output without impacting your results! Simply click the ‘Add additional data’ button on the Portfolios input screen, and make your selections.
These columns will then be included in the table output of your Portfolio and visible when you click on a building. |
Feature enhancement: Projects | There's a new tool available to view the length of cables you’ve drawn to link new connections with the existing network. Simply select the ‘cable’ option in Projects, then click an asset on the map to start drawing. |
Data units added | In the ‘Ground Mount PV Potential’ dataset, you’ll now see units for ‘parcel area’ and ‘generation potential’ if you click on a polygon and hover over the ‘i’ symbol next to the field title. |
Other small changes | Minor bug fixes and UI improvements (e.g.a tooltip has been added to explain the ‘Proposed Project Date’ field when creating a Project, integrated guidance has been added to Scenarios, and a new loading bar has been added for large-scale Projects). |
