Creating Your Organization
When you create an AdOpt account, an Organization is created automatically. This primary Organization cannot be deleted.
ℹ️ Note: Every new AdOpt account starts with a 30-day Free Trial. During this period, you cannot create additional Organizations, so your account is limited to a single Organization.
If you'd like to create additional Organizations to better structure your AdOpt account, follow our step-by-step guide or the tutorial below:
Log in to your AdOpt account. If you don’t have an account yet, create one here.
In the sidebar, find the (1) Organizations menu and create an Organization by clicking the (2) + New organization button and, on the top of the page beside your username, click Add Organization.
(3) Name your Organization. Your Disclaimers will be managed within it.
Edit the (4) Organization Link if you want to customize the URL within the AdOpt dashboard.
Finally, click (5) Save.
💡 Tip: Organizations work like folders, allowing you to group Cookie Banners from one or more websites into the same workspace. On all AdOpt paid plans, you can create multiple Organizations within your account, making it easier to manage multiple Cookie Banners and websites.
Creating Your Disclaimer
Follow our step by step walkthrough or the following steps:
Select the (1) Organization in which you want to create a Disclaimer.
Click (2) Create disclaimer.
Enter the (1) Disclaimer Name for identification.
In the (2) URL Mapping field, enter your website URL using the following format: https://www.your_website.com/.
To use the same Cookie Banner across two or more URLs, click (3) Insert Multiple URLs and repeat the process described in Step 4.
ℹ️ Note: Each plan includes a different limit on the number of URLs that can be added to a single Disclaimer. Check this page to see the limit for your current plan.

Finally, click (5) Save.
ℹ️ Info: The Add Multiple URLs option is available on all plans, including the Free Trial. This feature allows you to create a single Cookie Banner that works across multiple websites. You can install the same banner on all of them by adding subdomains or entirely different domains, depending on your implementation strategy.
Disclaimer Panel
As soon as you save, a Disclaimer will automatically be generated with a tag exclusively for the registered URL(s). Once the Disclaimer is created, you will see it in a unique card containing:
(1) the Disclaimer's name;
(2) the website's URL linked to this Disclaimer;
(3) the configuration steps of your Disclaimer;
(4) metrics for opt-ins and opt-outs;
(5) the configuration status;
(6) Disclaimer settings.
After creating the Disclaimer, you can begin its configuration by following each step: Style; Documents; Request Page; Installation; and Tag Scanner. We recommend configuring it from left to right.
💡 Tip: The configuration steps will appear in green when correctly set up and in red or yellow when there are pending configurations. The Disclaimer will appear on your site only if all configuration steps (Style; Documents; Request Page; Installation; and Tag Scanner) are shown green.
